Wi-Fi & Home Networking

Whole-home coverage, designed for your floor plan and the way your household actually uses the internet.

Most Wi-Fi problems aren't the internet plan, they're the network inside the house: a lone router in a corner cupboard trying to reach three bedrooms, a garage office and the back deck. We start with how your home is built and where you actually use your devices, then design coverage to match.

That might mean a properly placed mesh system, Ethernet backhaul to the rooms that matter, a switch for the media cabinet, or running cable where wireless will never be reliable. Everything is configured, labelled and documented before we leave, and we test every room with you.

What's included

  • Mesh Wi-Fi design & installationThe right system for your home's size and construction, placed where physics says it should go, not where the power point happens to be.
  • Dead-spot elimination & speed tuningWe measure coverage room by room, fix the gaps, and tune band steering and channels so devices connect to the right node at the right speed.
  • Ethernet cabling & switchingClean, wall-fished cable runs for offices, TVs and consoles, plus managed switching for the gear that should never be on Wi-Fi.
  • Parental controls & guest networksSensible content filtering, per-device schedules and a separate guest network so visitors never touch your main devices.
  • NBN & modem sortingWe deal with the ISP side too: modem placement, plan sanity check, and making sure you're getting the speed you're paying for.

Common questions

Do I need to buy new hardware?

Not always. If your existing router or mesh kit is capable, we'll reconfigure and reposition it before recommending anything new. When new gear is the answer, we quote specific models with the price, and you're free to buy them yourself or have us supply them.

Can you run cables through walls?

Yes, in most homes. We do tidy in-wall runs where construction allows and use conduit or surface duct where it doesn't. Every quote states exactly which rooms get cabled and how.

How long does a typical job take?

A mesh install with tuning is usually half a day. Cabled jobs run from a half day for a couple of runs to a full day or two for a whole-home fit-out.
